  Terrible customer service. I had a receipt and went to exchange some items (purchased the day before) for a few cans of soda and another non-food item. I was informed that they can't exchange household items for food items because of different taxes, which I get. So I asked if I could do a complete return on the items and then make a separate purchase but was told no, because they don't give cash back or store credits. So apparently Dollar Tree items are non-refundable now?? Not only did the clerk act like I was stupid, but she kept my original items. (One of which was, in fact, not food and could have been exchanged.) .
